Gestão do conhecimento e a efetividade do compliance: uma revisão sistemática de literatura
Abstract
Since the major scandals involving fraud and corruption, initially in financial institutions, the corporate world has dedicated itself to developing programs and management systems that can guarantee the legitimacy and reliability of its processes. However, aligning individual and collective practices has become a challenge for organizations seeking a competitive advantage through Compliance. In this context, Knowledge Management becomes an interesting strategy for corporations seeking to create an environment that encourages their employees to create, acquire and share knowledge that underpins their compliance practices. Therefore, the aim of this study is to analyze how scientific production in the field of Administration has addressed the relationship between Knowledge Management and the effectiveness of Compliance. The work methodology used was a systematic literature review of publications found in the Web of Science repository between 2014 and 2023, using the keywords “Compliance” and “Knowledge Management”. After the filters used, were analyzed ten scientific articles. The main results showed that is still underexplored the direct relation between the two themes in academic works, despite the relevance and topicality of the topics. However, it was possible to see that although most of the papers analyzed made no direct reference to the contribution of Knowledge Management to the effectiveness of Compliance in organizations, the publications put “knowledge” at the heart of their discussions on Compliance combined with other themes such as innovation, risk management, flexibility and quality management.
