Alfabetização financeira e o planejamento para aposentadoria dos jovens
Abstract
The present study focuses on the theme People Management Strategies That Contribute to the Retention of Generation Y Professionals. The research problem centers on identifying which strategies are most effective in retaining these professionals. The objective was to analyze the main strategies that contribute to retaining Generation Y professionals. To achieve this goal and address the research problem, a theoretical framework was developed based on the works of Alberto, Carvalho, Mendonça, and Cristani. A quantitative approach was adopted, involving 103 respondents, and data collection was conducted through a questionnaire targeting Generation Y professionals. From the collected data, the primary retention strategies sought by Generation Y professionals when joining a company were identified. The findings indicate that this generation values companies that offer onboarding initiatives, training, career development opportunities, and differentiated benefits. It was also concluded that salary and financial rewards are no longer regarded as the most crucial factors for retaining these professionals.
